Erica is a little girl that loves to hang out with her friends and always participates in her class. She loves to color and play at the park! She was also one of the first in line to get her face painted and dress up in a costume this Halloween!

It's summertime in Puerto Plata! We're having such a great time with the kids at the club! We're busy, busy, busy and the kids are having such a great time with all of the activities we have prepared for them! They love coming to class, hanging out with their friends and teachers, spending time together outside of class, loving on some volunteers, getting special treats like going to the pool, and just spending time together! The first half of the summer has been amazing! Here is Erica with one of our summer volunteers, Hope, just hanging out at the club one day. We love summer!

Halloween

Dove was able to get a huge donation of Halloween costumes and threw a giant party for the kids on the afternoon of Halloween, during Saturday Boys and Girls Club. Erica, as you can see, had a blast! She is pictured with her friend Brittany.

Pool Party!

Liz, along with Jencen and Jenny (two Canadian volunteers in the DR for 2 weeks) took the girls of the Girls Club to a pool party, and Erica was able to attend! She is wearing the bright pink bathing suit.

Their House

In this video, Erica and Bebo took me on a tour of their house. I think it is impossible to watch this video without smiling. They are so sweet and so proud of the little they have. Bebo pats the outhouse and smiles proudly, saying in spanish, "This bathroom is mine!"
